PUT YOURSELF HARDER TO BECOME BETTER

Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise, and sufficient rest along with a formal recovery plan.

The amount of water you should drink daily depends on several factors, including your age, weight, activity level, and climate. However, general guidelines suggest:
  • Men: About 3.7 liters (125 ounces or ~15.5 cups) per day
  • Women: About 2.7 liters (91 ounces or ~11.5 cups) per day
This includes all fluids from water, beverages, and food. A good rule of thumb is the 8×8 rule—drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day (~2 liters), which is easy to remember and works for most people.Factors That Increase Water Needs:
  • Exercise: More sweating means more water loss, so drink extra.
  • Hot/Humid Weather: Heat increases sweat production, requiring more hydration.
  • Illness/Fever: Vomiting, diarrhea, or fever increase fluid loss.
  • Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Requires extra hydration.
A good way to check if you’re drinking enough is urine color—light yellow means well-hydrated, while dark yellow suggests dehydration.
